This is Yoga for real people in the real world.
The word yoga, from the Sanskrit word yuj means to yoke or bind and is often interpreted as "union".
Yoga is a mind and body practice with historical origins in ancient Indian philosophy. Various styles of yoga combine physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation or relaxation. No one OWNS Yoga. All the different styles of Yoga are merely brands of Yoga that individual people have interpreted and developed based on their experience.
Yoga will teach you about yourself, about your body and how to support it and strengthen it in a flexible way, on that mat and off the mat. Giving you tools to cope with the ups and downs life has to offer.
Yoga, practised regularly over a period of time, improves emotional, psychological and physical wellbeing.
The style of Yoga that Nicole teaches is a melting pot of styles, taken from all branches of Yoga and with her experience of dance, martial arts and fitness also added to the pot. Each session is geared to the people in front of her, to suit them, whatever size, shape, ability or experience. She takes inspiration from Hatha, Ashtanga, Rocket, Forrest and many more. Also teaching Pranayama (Yogic Breathing) and Yoga Nidra (Deep Relaxation).
